If your or customer's system can export data in txt or xml format, built-in EDI connector is able to quickly upload dimensions directly to LoadCargo.in.
Your customers can interactivelly view planned cargo in web version of LoadCargo.in. While on-line, click the Upload button and get a link sent to your customer.
Loading cargo is not always easy and takes a lot of time. There are too many aspects that must be considered. LoadCargo.in makes it easier. Using 3D visualization you can better get a picture of how many containers is needed. Also you can use manual mode, if automatical mode do not fit your needs. LoadCaro.in enables exporting of loading or stuffing plan. You can choose from pdf or rtf format and it's also possible to send the link to the customer, so he can see loading plan interactively. In order to fully satisfy our customers, we offer 14-day trial fully functional demo, downloadable from our website LoadCargo.in. We also offer 30-day no question money back return policy and in order to make it really simple for our customers, we offer on-line skype demo session, where potential customers can ask questions as well. Our main goal is not to make a money, but deliver useful tool and make life of people from logistics industry a little bit easier. Of course, sales help us to continue and make it better and better. We spent a lot of time with programming LoadCargo.in and we want to see our application to be used by thousands of companies all over the world. This is our primary goal.
You can try load cargo as it would be container or ideally you can use level by level approach. We call it XZY, so boxes are loaded in axis X, Z and then it starts new level from back of the truck, which is axis Y. (Y is vertical)

How to let the World know about our LoadCargo.in? That was vital question. We do not send a spam, because it's illegal, if we do not have recepient's approval. So we sent paper letters via snail mail and are heavilly dependant on Google adWords and Bing Ads. This costs us a lot of money, but we know we have a good product and it will payoff. We also work on SEO of course. Doing all this bring us visitors and their valuable email addresses they leave us if they download 14-day trial version.
Typical container is usually loaded from the back to the front. We call it YXZ way. It means, first boxes are stacked at the back of the container and gradually moves to the front of the container. Loading algorithms belongs to so called heuristic algorithm. It's important to be aware of the fact, that not all loading must be perfect. It's not possible to create an algorithm solving all loading scenarios optimally. At the beginning it was difficult to realize, as we wanted to deliver perfect solution.
To be more personal again :), I was lucky I had around few supporters and mentors, who helped me to continue and improve. And I still have them. That is very important, because such project can't be a one man show, also in relation to customer support and future development. There is a lot to do in terms of functionality, system coherence, design, payment systems, marketing, advertising, testing, surveys, etc. Also, since we started to sell LoadCargo.in over the internet, we found several supporters from early customers who help us with testing and give us very useful feedback helping us improve.
At the beginning I had to concentrate on container loading. I had quite a big headache with monitoring which parts of the container are already loaded, where are free spaces, what is their maximal width, length and what is remaining height. :) I found good approach after all, but during the time I had to change it completely several times, mainly because I wanted to also support not only metric system, but also imperial one. Of course, all this took me huge amount of time. Several times I wanted to quit, because ration between time and possible earnings started to be very disadvantageous. By today I spent around 1500 hours, most of my evenings and weekends. As you can feel, I don't have children yet and my wife is very tolerant and supportive. :)

Before I started to programme, I was sure I want a platform, which can be used not only on windows, but also Mac and Linux. I chose Adobe Air which object oriented programming language Actionscript 3.0, which is very close to Java. Future will show if it was wise decision, but until now I did receive only one complaint, because Adobe cancelled security support for Linux. You can still use LoadCargo.in on Linux, but adobe air framework for linux is not updated anymore. That's life. :)
