13 years ago I started to work on cargo loading optimization system. I was able to solve 3D view math only and then I got tired as loading algorithm math was too complex to me. I was not able to figure out, what box should I start with and how to proceed. Also if I took into consideration all aspects like weight, stackability, stackability limits of overlapping boxes, turning and rotating of the boxes, I was exhausted and frustrated. So I went to ride on my bike and postponed this project to "later".
After 8 years I showed it to one of my other project customer and he was sure, I should finish it. But why, if there were already more applications on the market solving cargo loading problem?
In next 2 years my colleagues asked me to finish it, as they were not satisfied with current applications on the market. I was still not sure, if it's worth of the time it will take, but part of my programmer's soul was telling me, I should try it to see, if I will succeed.
